Yes they do. House made sangria was the best
Love it. Good food, good service, you ll come, enjoy it.
Yes...the calamari is fantastic!
THEY DO NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS!! It's first come-first serve plus all patrons~~ party of 6 or more~~ALL must be present to be seated, especially on a Friday or Saturday Night. They close at 9pm. My suggestion is you call 10mins before arrival and check if there's a wait & let them know how big the party is. The food is well worth the wait.
We only serve crab legs on Sundays 11-3 ( while supplies last) $25 per bucket
Not sure on the oysters but the crab cakes are worth the trip
No they don't
I believe so!
Yes
I cannot say enough good about this place!!! Walk in and it's like you just came home. Great service, staff will do everything they can to accommodate you and make it right if they get anything wrong.
This place is about a mile from my house, so it's convenient when I can afford it. It's been a long time since I've eaten here, so I ordered some take out today. The food is always great. One thing I was disappointed with was they didn't have there Old Bay fries. They fries i got were far from them, I was looking forward to those so it was a let down. But I did try the red beans an rice for the 1st time. & it's by far my favorite I've had down here. It's good food, but it can get expensive. And hopefully they change the advertisement on the menu for the fries..
Just had to finally get here and I was not disappointed! This is a great spot to bring your family and friends and have a good meal. Happy Hour is a good time to come where their appetizers are half off :) Highly recommend their flounder, hush puppies, calamari, and everything else on the menu. Small place, but I like it. Get there early...it can get packed.
Food: very tasty and interesting menu. The turtle chili soup was a bomb. Very spicy but that's my preference. The fried flounder on my salad was fine. Big bowl though and I'm a small guy. LolPrice: they serving was a lot for the price. So I think it's worth it. Parking: there's a big parking lot in the back so I advise people not to pull in in front of the restaurant. Staff: very friendly. Very hospitable. Very informed. And most of all, they wear their smiles on their face. Will recommend and will come back .
Great Food. Great Service. Amazing atmosphere. With all the Covid business going on, Fish Camp by a landslide is adhering to all the safety measures to keep their customers safe. Servers wear masks, they are constantly disinfecting and sanitizing and practice social distancing. If you must get out to eat and have some normalcy----The Fish Camp is where its at!!!!
If you can find this tiny treasure "nestled in the woods" ,conquer your parking woes & keep your appetite at bay..VICTORY will be your reward. The portions are generous, food comes to you hot & the servers are pleasant . The 1st pic is Seafood Platter: I personally like a little more seasoning in my batter's but theirs is light & tasty. The scallops well tender & succulent. The flounder flaky with the right amount of crunch. The oysters were clean & perfect. The 2nd pic is Flounder platter. The hushpuppies a bit thicker than I usually eat. Go & Enjoy some "low country " eats.
Brunch was delightful. Our server had a beautiful smile that shined through her mask. Very relaxed and awesome food! So enjoyable.
We were visiting Charleston for 10 days and we went there 4 times. :D AWESOME atmosphere, AWESOME staff and food that's outa this world. One of my friends has an EXTREME onion allergy. And they were very accommodating. The wait staff checked with the kitchen thoroughly and made my friend feel safe about the stuff he ordered.
This place is amazing. We went on a Saturday afternoon around (party of 5) and got seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Combined we tried the shrimp and grits, flounder platter, shrimp platter and mac n cheese bites. EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL!!! Will definitely return soon.
Cool place! Food was really good. Lots of outside seating. Great decor with very laid back vibe.
Good food in a laid back environment. Service was sufficient and friendly... they're trying to do the best they can under Covid restraints. Give them a try and get the camp rolls...
This is a little hidden gem off of Central Ave. Price point maybe $1 to $2 high. This isn't Capt D's. Inside is cramped so if you're offended by someone you dont know sitting at your table then this isn't for you. I liked it, food was good. Order came out quick. Wife ate here before with our son. She wanted to go back. Glad she suggested this place. I will return for another meal
Best catfish I've had in the lowcountry at a restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. Limited picnic table style seating on the inside with additional covered seating outside. Wife had the seared flounder and that was good as well. Next time I need to try the mac n cheese since I have heard nothing but good things about that as well. Give it a try. You wont be sorry.
This place is amazing! The place it self is kinda small, they have 2 dinning areas and the bar seats 8 people, there is no call ahead it is first come first serve. The menu is small but EVERYTHING on it is awesome! The staff is super friendly and never leave you hanging! This place is great for family's or first date!
Sanitizer on each table to use. Food was good and hot.
Good local seafood. Some fried, some grilled, and some blackened. Bloody Mary is a must!
Great place to eat. Every customer is treated equally regardless of race, greed or color. Good cultural atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed. the food is excellent and fresh. I highly recommend and endorse this restaurant. Hat's Off To The Staff !!!!Dr. Alexander
Hello little gem of Summerville! This place is a seriously delicious dive! Parking area is small and there's limited seating, but worth the effort. The food is phenomenal. Our table had blackened fish, fried pickles, sweet potato tots, mac n cheese, buffalo shrimp, hush puppies and coleslaw. Sounds basic? Not at all. Everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing was greasy. The tots were enjoyed the day after as well, oh so good! The service was quality as well. Beer and wine selection was nice. The loo was clean. Some of the items are a bit over average prices, though most was affordable, but all is worth spending. This is definitely not a place to miss! Family friendly and can accommodate small groups.
Family from Charlotte in-town wanted good seafood. Boy, did they deliver! Catfish, scallops, shrimp, the whole 9! Got a bucket of crab legs that we couldn’t finish and our server Nate boxed it up on-ice! Service was awesome and and the meal was even better! Thanks for accommodating our crying babies, too. Will def be back!
Good food! Great service by Brandy+
Pretty good food. Nice job expanding the parking lot since my last visit.
I can't say enough about this place. I feel in love with this establishment after my first bite of the grouper bites. They were nice and moist with great flavor. The hush puppies and oysters were fantastic. I also had the shrimp and grits, I took most of it home because the portions are large so you get your money's worth here. The staff heard us and were very nice and attentive. I will be coming back when I'm in the area.
First time we've been was very pleased great service wonderful outside seating food was plentiful we have the shrimp po-boy and special crawfish platter.will definitely be going back I highly recommend.
First time eating here. Outside sitting only. They had fans blowing which made the 90 degree heat feel better. The service was great! The food was wonderful. We will be going back soon.
Service was excellent. Food was good. I love the style of the restaurant. We sat outside and it was great. Employees are super friendly. The sangria was house made and it was excellent. The happy hour special are a great deal. Loved the tartar sauce with a kick. It was also made in house. Will go back it was a nice evening with family.
The gator bites were very good.
Can't order takeout after 3 since the outside is opened. We one time had to wait an hour as we were passed over for smaller groups that were sat at the long table which our group of 8 could fit. There website is horrible they have their name partially over the hours and time.I love their food when I can get it but the manager/ owner can be rude.
First time there but won't be the last. The food was amazing. Best gator bites I have ever had and the seafood lasagna was very good.
We were celebrating our son's 40th birthday and he and his wife suggested going to Low Country Fish Camp in Summerville. This was our first time eating there and also our first time eating out since the Carona virus!! What a pleasure it was eating out in the open air restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and patient with my many questions about all the menu choices. The seafood platter was wonderfully hot and delicious. We ordered an extra order of scallops and the meal was a gracious plenty. We had enough left over to take home for the next day. By the way, the scallops were AWESOME and well worth the upcharge for the extra serving. We will come back again in the near future!! Thank you for the great experience and the wonderful service.
The restaurant is awesome. A “whole in the wall” that has several things going for it. One, service. JJ did an awesome job waiting on the 4 of us. Made recommendations for each of us even if what we wanted wasn’t a menu item. She did not come back to us every time we took a bite of food, and that’s important to me. Two, Food Preparation. The food was awesome. Best hush puppies around (or at least I think so and so does my wife). Big shrimp, not popcorn shrimp, fried perfectly, excellent taste. Blackened flounder that wasn’t overly heated. Cooked perfectly. Again, great taste. French fries were nice and crunchy. Yum. Three, Service after the sell. Did not push desert on us but inquired if we wanted desert. Sorry, not enough room in the tummy. I would recommend this place over and over again. Check out these pictures for an idea of their food...
Excellent food, really friendly staff, good drinks, good servings, probably one of the best little restaurants in Summerville. It’s always a pleasure to go back! ❤️
Definitely a dive! But SO wonderful! Screened dining area, limited indoor seating. Yummy flounder po' boy and the grouper bites we're so fresh tasting. Will go back!
The food was outstanding and the service was as well . This was our first time there , and we were tremendously happy with the experience.
Great good with great service.
This was a small local place that my in laws took me to and I was very happy with the overall experience. The grouper bites were perfectly cooked and the all you can eat popcorn shrimp was more than enough food even without a second helping. There were a lot of fried seafood options on the menu but blackened and seared foods could be found as well. Our beers were in cans/bottles and I'm not sure if they have anything on tap. As long as they have a good variety, not having beers on tap is definitely not a deal breaker.I would certainly recommend this place as a good family spot. It is very small and you may have to sit outdoors. During our visit it was a little cold but the heater on all the outdoor tables will keep everyone warm enough in a South Carolina winter.Parking can be a little challenging because if the limited amount. They have a couple if spots at the front but most of the parking is in the back.
We stopped by on Sunday for Brunch! It was our first time trying the restaurant! I have to say that our experience was wonderful! We were seated within a very short time and had a wonderful server! I tried the Dirty Pig off their Brunch menu, and it was delicious. The serving was more than enough for one meal, so I was able to have some for lunch the next day! We will be going back!
Good is OUTSTANDING!!! Never had a bad meal here...
The food was great! Did a good job on social distancing and staff wore masks. Felt safe eating there.
Food was good... but the staff and atmosphere was over the top.... 1st time here...but they made the weekly dine out list.
The fried foods are good. The skillet corn has a ton of some kind of seasoning on it that is very unpleasant. The rice and beans are too mushy. Everything I had that was fried was great. Customer service this good is very rare. Love the staff. But they should work on other menu items. Overall I would return for the seafood.
First time won't be the last. Leah was an awesome server! Food was great, fresh, and fast. Really good fried oysters. Wife had salmon that was really good as well. Deserts were homemade and delicious. We will be back!
We were greeted promptly and advised of a 20 minute wait. We received a text that our table was ready and we were greeted by our waitress. Great selection of seafood and the specials sounded great. The flounder was delicious and the mac and cheese was superb. We were asked multiple times if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything. We opted to take home a piece of the Kahlua cheesecake and it was AMAZING. Overall great first experience and looking forward to going back.
